Welcome to Mafong & Harrison Art Works.

The emphasis in our works is to integrate the materials of wood and metals into non functional sculptural forms.

We draw our inspiration from Asian art, forms from nature, and characteristics of the materials used. Directly manipulating the materials often influences the final outcome of the design regardless of the original concept. While designing we combine and juxtapose the different elements like brushstrokes on a painting. This allows us to add or subtract as necessary to achieve our final goal.

By combining the two disciplines of wood and metal as well as our technical backgrounds and training, we have been able to achieve together what we may not have been able to achieve individually.

We have enjoyed working together and we are excited as to what the future holds.
